Pfaelzerhuette
The Pfälzerhütte is a mountain hut at 2108 metres above sea level in the Naaftal Valley, on the Austrian border.
The Pfälzerhütte is a perfect starting point for hikes to the Naafkopf (2571m) and marks the point where the borders of Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein meet. It is also ideal for hiking the Liechtenstein Trail, giving you access to Brand Ferner, the Mannheimer Hut (2679m) and the Schesaplana (2965m).
Overlooking the hut towards Naafkopf are rock climbing routes with difficulty rating of between 4 and 7. The Pfälzerhütte is open every day from mid-June until mid-October and contains a restaurant with space for up to 60 people. The hut has 11 beds, 51 dormitory spaces and 20 emergency camp beds in nearby outbuildings, as well as a large group room with space for 20 to 25 people.
