The Pfälzer hut is a mountain hut at an altitude of 2108 m and lies at the top of the Naaftal valley on the border with Austria.

Description

The Pfälzer hut is an ideal starting point for the Naafkopf mountain (2571 m above sea level), where the borders of Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein meet, as well as for the Liechtensteiner Weg, via which the Brandner Ferner, the Mannheimer Hütte (2679 m above sea level) and the Schesaplana (2965 m above sea level) can be reached. Above the hut towards the Naafkopf mountain is a climbing garden with routes from 4th to 7th level of difficulty.

The Pfälzer hut is open from approx. mid-June to approx. mid-October (end of season 2025: October 11). The restaurant offers 60 seats. There are also 11 beds, 51 camp mattresses and a further 20 emergency camp mattresses in the outbuilding as well as a group room for 20 to 25 people.

  • Non-members: CHF 75
  • Children up to 13 years: CHF 40

Overnight stay with breakfast only:

  • Members*: CHF 38
  • Non-members: CHF 45
  • Children up to 13 years: CHF 20

*Members are all persons who are members of an Alpine Club with a reciprocal rights agreement at the time of their stay and can prove this with an Alpine Club card.
