Talent factory for World Cup winners

Malbun in the Principality of Liechtenstein is the perfect place to progress from small turns in the snow to big success on some of the world’s most famous ski pistes. Among those to have learned how to ski in Liechtenstein’s resort are Tina Weirather and Marco “Büxi” Büchel. Both have won multiple races on the FIS World Cup and like to keep fit in summer by hiking and biking in the mountains

Jack of all trades from Triesenberg

Former professional skier Marco Büchel from Liechtenstein also laid the foundations for his sporting success on the slopes of Malbun. His retirement from racing in 2010 marked the start of a new career for Büchel, also known as "Büxi". Today he works as an entertainer, communicator, speaker, TV and radio presenter, co-commentator and ski expert.
