City Backstage Tour Monarchy & Democracy
Take a look behind the scenes in the Principality of Liechtenstein, one of the smallest countries in the world, and discover its unique 150-year-old political system between direct democracy and monarchy.
The tour includes a visit to the Princes’ Room in the Liechtenstein National Museum to learn about how Liechtenstein came to be an independent state and the role of the Princes over the centuries, as well as a trip to the Liechtenstein Parliament to find out about how and why day-to-day political relations have changed between the Princes and the people. Experience a fascinating journey through time in a country whose rich history has always been closely connected with that of Europe and is today the guarantee for the sovereignty of our Principality.
