Tobogganing is great fun for families. The two toboggan runs - one leading down from the Berggasthaus Sücka hut in Steg and one in Malbun - are the perfect way for parents and children to explore the snowy landscape.

The "Sareiserhöhe" is a mountain ridge near the top of the chairlift from Malbun. It serves as an ideal starting point for skiers and snowboarders to head back down into the valley on the excellent pistes.

Malbun Ski and Snowboard School offers private tuition and group courses for children and adults of all abilities. There are also taster courses and beginners' courses for snowboarding.
In winter you can take a family-friendly hike with llamas from Malbun, Steg or Triesenberg.
From 8th November 2024 to 6th January 2025 there will be a big roller skating place and a cozy cottage restaurant.
