Exploring the mountains with the alphorn

This adventure gives guests the chance to visit some of the most scenic spots in Liechtenstein and enjoy the unique sound of the traditional Alpine alphorn. Participants are, of course, welcome to have a go themselves and see what they can do with an instrument that was for many centuries used by farmers and shepherds in the Alps to communicate with each other.

Program

If the weather is good:

• a theory and practice lesson on how to play the alphorn,
• a short guided hike,
• a picnic.

If the weather is bad:

• a theory and practice lesson on how to play the alphorn,
• a visit to the Walser Museum in Triesenberg including a slideshow,
• the picnic will be conducted in a restaurant
